Six weeks wasn't enough, but then it also seems too much. I'm getting home-sick.
We hit the road today from Steve & Barb's to Vancouver .... a day with John Lennig before the long flight home on Sunday.
I'm taking back a bunch of memories that started with meeting old skydiving friends in BC. Dan's shop. Four day drive to Edmonton thru some of the most spectacular scenery in the world. Duncan Dawgie and the hilarious birth of the "Hardly Normal Sign Company". Drive to Moose Jaw across the land of the "Living Sky". The Mural Meet. The "Last Dambuster" Mural. Bill Heug & "Dolly". Getting to meet in real life a lot of Letterhead friends. Making even more. Staying with Kelly & Jim on their farm. Kicking back and relaxing with Steve & Barb. Panel Jam there. Trip to Niagara. Tattoo. Last night the diner with Brenda and friends and the sing-along was the icing on the cake. The list is endless.
Fortunately I'm taking home nearly 2000 pics and some awsome panels to remind me forever. PLUS a tattoo!
Thanks to you all. Please come down our way so I can return the favour.
PS: If it wasn't for Letterville this never would have happened ... Thank you Steve & Barb!

All that and you get to add "Big Top" to the list. Sounds like it's been a great adventure.

Maybe one day we can venture into your side of this sphere and you can come back for a tour of the U.S. I'd love to meet y'all too, Bushie!

It was our pleasure to make true friends of the folks we've been visiting with here for so long. I look forward to the day when our paths cross once more.

We've just returned home from dropping Jon and Sue off at the airport. By now they are somewhere over N. Ontario headed for Calgary, then on to Vancouver.
It's been a wonderful 8 days. Thanks to all of you who joined us in person for the Great Bushie Bash. A very special thanks to Brenda Siemon and her pals Pat and Stef. Really enjoyed our Dinner and Sing-A-Long last night.
It's sort of lonely around the old joint tonight. Who's coming next? Posted by John Lennig (Member # 2455) on :
Well, we've polished all the Silver, and it's still raining...guess i'll have to send Jon and Sue home with some, for their Drought in OZ! Jon is helping me tomorrow, i've got about 55 pieces of pinstriping stuff in a local art/craft show. We'll see how much money i can get out of the locals, for all my practice panels!
