Hi Everyone,
first let me apologize for all the questions I have on this printer, I really appreciate the help i get and hope to be able to return the favor one day.I will be attending a Digital printing workshop in June at the show in Charlotte. I hope I can get a lot of my questions answered and learn more when I'm down there.
Here is the issue I'm having now, the contour cut is off just a bit, like a 1/32 or so. I have calibrated and done the other problem solving offered in the manual. I work out of corel and assigned it a contour cut. When I bring it into Versaworks I see the marching ants and it looks like its off also, in the same direction that my cut is off, has anyone encountered this?
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Thnx,

We print everything so that it goes beyond the barrier of the cut line so that if it is off a little one way or another you are not left with a little white glow edge to one side or the other. We also use the crop marks and laminate everything so the printer gets to re-calibrates everytime it cuts. After I have the cut layer selected, I copy it and paste it behind the art make it an 8 point outline and try to aim for the same color as the outside of the art or the media (ie vehicle color) of where the graphic will end up. Then if it is a little off it's no big deal. For smaller more precise prints make sure you don't over extend yourself as far as making alot of little graphics. The longer the print the more off it can be. Also, make sure you have plenty of slack on the back of the machine as it goes, that will help you keep everything on line. Hope that helps.
