I took off early this afternoon to go watch it and oh man, it is DISGUSTINGLY HYSTERICAL!

Yeah, man... my wife and I saw it a while back. You described it perfectly, and with the right emphasis. We've been laughing about it ever since.
Cohen is gonna have a bunch of lawsuits against him, but he'll still make millions! One of the woman at that TV station lost her job over that whole deal!
Nice. Very Nice.

Wouldn't you have loved to see that interview pop up on real live TV the day they shot that? HAHAHAHA.
For those that don't know, all the scenes in this movie are supposedly REAL, as in the others involved did not know it was going to end up as a movie!
Still, I wonder about that book signing scene with Pamela Anderson. If that was a candid scene and not a setup, that's just classic!

Pamela Anderson had to be in on it, because I'm sure her bodyguards would have beaten the everlivin' sh!t out of Cohen... on camera or not... when he tried to put her in that bag.
They didn't look like the restrained type.
There were SO many funny parts... I'm really surprised he didn't get himself killed at some point though.

He's been around quite a few years over year in different guises, and we still think he's funny.
It was on the news over here that they removed the film from half the theatres at first in the US, but increased again due to popularity Posted by Big bly (Member # 1630) on :
nah he's too lowbrow for me
I'm going with jackass 2

I enjoy Borat. We are please to be see him in U.S and A!
Etiquette dinner had us rolling in the aisles, my husband and I absolutely loved this film. We were practically crying we laughed so hard. Jackass 2 is right up there also. As for all those people pressing lawsuits...it's not goi g to change anything and the promoters of the film probably love it as it adds to the popularity. Curiosity puts bums on seats. Anne, when pressing those lawsuits, does the crease go forward or to side? Posted by Mike Pipes (Member # 1573) on :
Yeah I think it's pretty funny that the drunken college idiots from that one scene filed a lawsuit.. claiming the film put them in a bad light.. despite the fact they knew there was a cameraman in there with him and still decided to get hammered and act like morons. DUH!

I doubt the lawsuit is because they're upset at how they look. Probably got a lot more to do with how popular the film is and how much money they didn't get out of it. AW poor babies!!
I guess it depends which way they dress as to where the creases go frank
