I have been trying to figure out what font this is.
The other local sign shop where the customer got this one from won't return her call and she needs more sign work. So she came to me.
Thanks for your help.

I think that is De Vinne Orn.

I've got it as Duvall. Tom or Kathy is right too, but it might help to have multiples if you're looking through your fonts.

Hey thanks! I got dicouraged trying to find it. It's disgusting trying to preview a "million" fonts online with a 30k connection.
Thanks so much! Letterville is the greatest!!

Wonder why they won't return her call...be sure and get a deposit on this one, final payment BEFORE installation and have her inital and sign off on ALL aspects of the job.
They may not be calling back because they don't want to work with her again.
For your sake, I hope that she is a lovely lady who adores the sign you make and pays for the sign on time. Be careful though, there's a red flag there.

Thanks for the word of caution.
We are pretty sure that we know the reason why he won't return her call. We've had several of his customers talk with us about it. He was small, like us and half his business was signs and the other half was called "computer doctors". Anyway, as it turns out, he does signs part-time (Fridays only) because he got a good job as networking techie for the government offices in town.
In a way, it's kinda handy that he's not really into signs anymore-- his customers are calling us. But it is not so nice because his customers try and try to get ahold of him and finally call us and "need it tomorrow" partly because they wasted days waiting on him.
The other "nice" thing with it is that it was really frustrating competing with him. We weren't charging as much as we should have, however, his bids were drastically less than ours. Lots of times his bid was 1/2 ours. And around here --unfortunately-- lots of the people will opt for the cheaper guy.
