I think I am up to date on most. But just for good measure what are some words used in the business that not everyone might be familiar with?
Some examples for me would be: Stringers? ICC profiles?
Also some BB abbreviations?

If you know what ICC means with regards to signage and digital printing, you're pretty much a geek! ICC - International Color Consortium I guess I'm a geek Stringers - A horizontal timber used to support upright posts (from Dictionary.com)

Jewel Trim: Trim intalled onto Acrylic faces to install it on Channel Neon Letters. or Kernelling: To evenly space letters (spelling?)

Blake, I believe that its only called Jewel Lite. Its even manufactured by one of my customers.

X-actoe = Injury resulting from an x-acto rolling off of the table and you thinking it's a stabilo and trying to save it.
Milk = Wunda Size
Coke = Shadow Kaolin, Gilders Whiting, Talc, Etc.
Soap = Bon-Ami Cake
Carrier = the backing paper for rolled goods, Vinyl, mask, etc
Ice Skating = Stepping on carrier which has landed slick side down.
Yard Sale = What happens when you go Ice Skating with an armload of stuff. Everything you have been carrying is spread all around for everyone to see.
Plague = When you get Fire Red One Shot on your fingers you have the Plague, 'cause it spreads like a disease
Smurfed = When you lay your elbow (or whatever) in wet Reflex Blue, you have been Smurfed.
Kit = All the useful stuff you take to a jobsite. Also, the box you use to carry the stuff.
Dixie Cup = Not actually a Dixie Cup. A cleverly folded piece of paper that holds a a small amount of paint.
Cup = Actually a Dixie Cup
Sword / Dagger = Pinstriping Brush
Booze / Juice = Mineral Spirits, Reducer, Turps, etc.
Death March = Any time you must carry a full sheet of Extira by yourself (also applies to thick MDO & HDU
Boxer = like a paper-cut, only from cardboard, and worse.
Alligator = A job that refuses to ever get done due to mistakes, natural disasters, or acts of client stupidity. They are Alligators because they keep on eating up profits.
Deadline = if you work where I do, The day you start the job
There are many more.

Stitch...a stiff fitch you forgot to put into Good Turps...
The Perfect Shade....the color vynull you suggest to a client because you have mass quantities of it...
