Hi! I'm looking for a compagny who make carbon fibre like vinyl. I know Avery make black and white, but I need other colors like blue, red, yellow, green, etc. I've alerady saw red carbon fibre somewhere, but I don't remember where.
Thanks for your help.

Benoit -
I am unaware of carbon fibre "colored" versions of pre-printed vinyl......though it's possible they may exist.
I could assist you in setting up a file in Photoshop that you could simulate a carbon fibre effect...in colors....and then you could go to someone with a Gerber Edge, Versacamm, or other outdoor durable printing equipment and have them print you out a section...
The effect is quite easy to achieve in Photoshop...
Hope this helps.

Is there any compagny who make tranparent vinyl? Maybe I can apply another layer of vinyl on the carbon fibre?
I want another way than print it...

I have seen white carbon fiber you could then use semi transparent in different colors to get the colors you want.. 3m and avery both make the semi tranparent

Go to Sharpline Converting. They have several carbon fibre patterns, and graphic striping configurations. They have a great variety of specialty vinyl patterns and films.800-888-4888 www.sharpline.com Posted by Barry Branscum (Member # 445) on :
You could try the clear CF and put it over the color of your choice....

Hi Benoit,
I don't have an answer for you, I just wanted to say that I am just south of you near Plattsburgh NY.
Welcome to Letterville.

Avery has a white/transparent to be used over colors. It is also available in white and black patterns.
(edit) Oops, didn't mean to dupe Jason's post...

Just want to ask what particular use you you have for the Carbon Fibre Like vinyl. Would you cut it with a plotter?

I've made a ''dashkit'' template for my custumers. And they want blue, red, green carbon fibre look. And yes I'll cut it with a plotter.

I always see this stuff around but never any source to get it!
The clear overlay stuff Avery makes looks like it could be interesting.
