Last I heard Bob is in a nursing home in kansas City...can anyone confirm this and provide an address so we can contact him?
I've known Bob for over 30 years and would like him to know we still think of him.I hate loosing contact.
If an address gets posted here it sure would be cool to overwhelm him with some cards...how about it gang!

He last wrote me from a Kansas address but did not mention a nursing home. Should I post that address in Oakland Park?
It may take me a day to find the address as my Mom fell Friday and broke her left foot and right arm. So I have to do more driving then normal.
He would love mail! In large print as the last letter was 1/2 inch handwritten letters between wide lines 3/4 inch apart.

I finally found the last address I had for Bob:
Bob Harper 8101 Santa Fe Overland Park, KS 66204
Not sure of the apt. # as it was missing. Just the word Apt.
I mailed him a letter yesterday to see if he is okay and still there.

Several months back there was a phone number or an email address here on the BB for Bob Harper posted by one of the gals I believe. I used it and spoke with Bob Harper a couple times and although I didn't know him we spoke. I understand Montes concern as with many older signmen who worked with him in the past and also understand how easy it is to lose contact with someone like Bob and others because of a workload or other things relating to life itself.
Changing the subject somewhat.
What I don't get is how easy it is for some to jump on the bandwagon after one of ours disappears from the face of the earth, then rein acts their love for that person when they couldn't find time to say hello while they were living. If Bob or another one of our heros suddenly moves to another world , that post will have more hits then the " what kind of beer ya drink " in a couple days. I think its real important to act like the person you believe you are rather then bs someone into believing you were their true friend. I remember all the replies after Rick Glawson passed on. I remember the waves on persons who posted as if they knew this dude forever.
I hope when its my time, yaw'll keep ya friggin mouths shut cause only a handful of ya have ever called me landline and only a couple met me in person. My health is failing due to several reasons and one of them is listening to all this BS here on the BB from some who can put all their experience into an Easter basket full of maybe 2 or 3 colors.

All I have for Bob are two phone numbers. He had called before the Mars meet and was looking for a ride. I don't want to post them online but the area codes are 417 and 313. Is his nickname Wabbit? Love....Jill

I only met Bob while in Vinton - but what a sight, watching him schmooze those older twin ladies!! And just how does he get his hair to do that??

I used to talk with him on the phone occasionally...he loves to share stories.....sometimes keeping me on the phone an hour or more.
I feel a bit guilty....I guess I hadn't called him for a long time due to knowing it wouldn't be a quick conversation...I admit that.
But he does have some interesting stories......
Once he took his entire portfolio down to the copy shop and sent me a big packet of xeroxed copies of his work.
If we can find his new address, I'll send him a letter for sure.
And Joey...I called you every time I went through Oregon inviting you to meet me for coffee and never got a reply......

Another tip when writing Bob
Send a stamped addressed envelope so he can reply.
That may be why he kept in touch with me. I gave him addressed envelopes because I remember my grandparents had trouble writing the address so the mail man could read it. And it is hard for him to see the small print in an address book.
