Just received my kit for silvering glass (mirrors) and for Angel gilding (basically a gold mirror) from Sarah King. Figure this will be the next step for embellishing glue-chipped signs. Still all wound up from the Mass Mayham meet- slick stuff!

You go girly-girl! It was a pleasure to meet you at Mass. I love to see a "newbie" get the fever after a meet. Your work is gorgeous.
Love...Jill

Yes, http://www.stainedglassltd.com/. The silvering kit is included in the master kit for angel gilding. Ace service as well!

I have a bunch of information on silver plating and silvering glass and mirrors that my Dad ordered in 1924.

The stuff came from J J Sprinkle Co.
Real interesting.

The image above was Angel Gilded with one of Sarah's kits. You can see a few basic step by step shots and a short article about it in the current SignCraft Magazine. You can also see one of Danny Baronian's ORIGINAL glass stand designs in the article.
