I sadly have to report that a special item is missing here at the shop. Sal Cabrera painted an awesome panel and gave it to me. I put it on a table with some others. It is missing. [Frown] I hope it was taken by mistake and whoever has it will ship it back to me. It was the one with the confederate flag and a musket on it. Whoever has it PLEASE return it.

Also found during clean up was a pair of glasses,
a leather cd case full of cds, and an IBM thinkpad. If any of these are your items, call me with a definite description and I will mail thm to you.

That stinks, Donald.
Why do folks do that?
If you saw my great-grandad's Civil War letters there, I left em on purpose.
You did a great job.
Remember to drink plenty of water this week, if you know what I mean!
Love- Jill [Applause]

Donald!! I left the awsome paint brush Cheryl carved that I was paintin'!! I left it drying right in top of your table saw behind where Joe was teachin' . . .please save it for me!! Thanx!

have you see it? -

Donald, sorry to hear someone took your panel without askin' and Sal, I suppose you can feel honored that someone liked your panel so much, they felt they just had to have it.

I wanted one of everything, they were all so awesome and would have been heartbroken if someone had swiped my 'Joe Buck'!

Let us assume, the person who has the panel didn't realize the exchange/gift protocol that goes on at Letterhead meets and that they return it, no questions asked...

Cher.

Don,
Sometimes things just get miss placed. I sorta remember it there Sunday. Then you started to move those few easels in front to pull something in the bay. I also believe that panel was on one of them. You've probably tore the shop up looking but it could of eluded you. Hope this helps if not let us know if it shows up. Good luck Roger

The Lap Top is mine, I was using it for a wheel block and took off on our way out and forgot to pick it up off da ground.

It ain't like it was a brush or sumptin...........NOW THAT, I would have turned around for!

That was a great panel Sal made, with all the confusion of packing up maybe it was taken by mistake.

...Don, and I think I left a squeeze bottle of thinner around there somewhere.

...If it turns up, keep it, you'll probably need it to clean up all the paint I spilled everywhere !!!

Donald, I know how you feel. I had posted my panel was "maybe" taken too, but I know now some lousy no good rotten filty animal snagged it. I think if it (yours, anyone else's or mine) doesn't turn up, maybe all future Letterhead meets if someone gets caught for taking someone else things shouldn't be allowed to any other meet! That's my opinion...

YEH FranCisco!!
Or!! We could tie 'em up by their thumbs and give them a new meaning for the word "striped" . . .

Cisco,
I saw yours in Mazeppa. I don't think that could have been a mistake to take yours. That was out right thievery. It was pretty obvious when you are walking around asking people to sign YOUR poster.
I am still hoping my panel will show up. If not if anyone ever sees it in someone's shop, I expect a call, just so I can make them feel lower that dirt. How would you feel having a panel that you could never display? I would hope they would feel like returning it. If it is returned, nothing would ever be said about who it was or where it came from. I just want MY panel back.

Donald
The Lap Top arrived today safe and sound...thank you.

The panel has been safely returned. I received it just a few minutes ago. It was on the easel and someone took it thinking Sal had left it for anybody. I have spoken to the person who sent it back, and I am convinced that it was a mistake. I am just really glad to have it back.

Everything else has been claimed except a pair of glasses and a couple of CDs. If these are anyone's, call and describe them and I will send them out.

Hey Donald, are they round CD's?

I'm glad to hear the panel was returned. It would be a shame to have the memories of a great meet marred by always wondering what happened to it.

I'm glad it was returned to you Donald. You guys had one heck of a nice meet...I hope you do another one sometime in the future.... I'll sure try to be there ! I got working on something and didn't have enough time to talk to everyone I wanted to talk to... I guess I'm still learning how to stay balanced at one of these things. The next meet I go to I'm going to do more visiting in between the painting !

Now I hope Cisco finds his poster, and Mike gets his CD's back from the Mazeppa meet.....

Donald,

It is nice to hear the panel is safe at home. I had a great time with all you Letterheads. I agree with Jill, it is nice when things turn out good.

Make it a great day!
