Hi Jeff,

Welcome! You won't find a nicer group of people than those who hang out here. I'm setting up a blast box for etching/carving glass. Totally new to glass. I wish you well in your glass efforts.

Thanks Dave and Dennis for the warm welcome! To clear up things a bit, by trying to be a glass artist I mean that I try (stress try) to sandblast etch, glue-chip, guild and color flat glass to look like something that it is not.

I think I have the technique down now it's just a matter of getting the first piece done and hung on the wall. Like I said befor it's not broke...yet!! LOL

I Am located in Lapeer Mi. and just haveing fun learning something new and cool.

thanks again
Jeff

Welcome Home
Have you tried the translucent vinyls yet?
They were made for electric sign faces. I have had
good results with "handcuttting",over lay color change, stain glass effects, and other experimental
avenues.

Stop by Letterville anytime! [Roll Eyes]
