Hey all,
finally uploaded a new site for work (day job)
Didn't really receive a lot of input from bosses, kinda winged it.
Kept it simple so it is easier for me to update.
Have bunch more to add but it's a start.
(((WARNING))) work is of a very commercial nature)))
Critiques are very welcome, as no-one will give me any input other than "looks good" ... and I'm not very good with wurdz.
Also need to know how certain pages react in netscape (vehicle graphics)

Thanks

Mark, Great site it really works well and the layout is great. Had a look at the code and it is search engine friendly. Crisp clean site, great idea to have a customer only section.
The only change I would make is to add a close window button at the to right hand corner of the history page. Great site well done

Took a look at your site....looks pretty good. I particularly liked the section on providing artwork. Seems crisp and to the point yet would allow a non computer graphics person to get an idea of what needs to be provided. Is it ok if I borrow the graphics and text from that page to use in a one page handout we are preparing?

I also like the concept of describing differnt types of product that you make but find it a little tedious reading for someone that doesn't know what to call the sign he wants you to make. Maybe some examples of the sign being described would help make it clearer and easier to follow.

The site looks good. Any time I clicked on an image to enlarge the picture, it didn't work.
You make a variety of stuff.

Nice site over all but I do have to give my thoughts on the pop up windows when I want to look at the thumbnail pictures. I do not like pop ups it just means more clicking of the mouse and that means more carpal tunal syndrome less clicking is better. I would rather see a stage with the thumbnails at the top or bottom and when you click a thumbnail it shows on the stage till you click another thumbnail.

This is a link to a site that has what I am talking about check it out http://www.dpreview.com/gallery/?gallery=fujis7000_samples/

P.S. It is also a very good site for information about digital cameras.

Matty,
Good point about the history page ... will do.

Chuck,
borrow away
I hear ya about the "quick info" stuff but the boss wanted it ... I'll work it into the site better eventually.

Diane,
are you not running javascript?
More importantly than what we make is that we sell a variety of stuff.

Steve,
Maybe I should put a note about the pop-up for larger images.
What I would like is to have the larger pic load to where the text is but I haven't figured it out (without preloading the larger images)
I really dont want to make frame pages with seperate html for every image.
Do hear what your saying, just havent figured out a good way around it ... yet

Thanks for the input ... it helps

Hiya Mark,
Looks great in Netscape 7.
The one observation I have during my breif visit is the banner page sample images aren't scrolled like the fleet graphics.

Diane,
If you have a pop-up blocker installed, it will not allow the second window to open.

Havin' fun,

Checkers
