My homebased shop, Signs By Judy, is located in Albany, Georgia, 175 miles southwest of Atlanta.

I began my carreer in 1972, working at a small silk screen shop, Modern Screen Art. There I learned to layout, make silk screens using a photographic process, where you expose flim to a carbon arc burner. I also learned to hand cut film. From 1975 until I began my business in 1980, I worked at sign shops around town where I learned to handletter.

I enjoy traveling, meeting and being with friends, and my latest hobby, chatting on the IRC.
