Hi from beautiful Mendocino, California, a rural community on the northern California coast. My name is Rick Sacks and our shop is known as "The Sign Shop." I live and work with my wife Megan and our children, Jake & Annie. We enjoy the ocean, beaches and our famous redwood forest.
When we are not making signs, we love to surf, dive & kayak. The forest is perfect for long walks or riding mountain bikes. Our shop is even in the woods, 10 miles from a town with a population of 1200 and a market area of 8000. We're four hours drive from the city, and an hour and a half from a highway. We've been having fun lettering signs, dreaming signs, talking signs, and selling signs since 1970.
