Hi all - It's Jackie B from the mountains of California.
In "real life" the name is Jackie Benker. I work for an in-house graphics and sign shop for Volcano Telephone Co. in Pine Grove. I started out in the 60's as a keypunch operator replacing Janice Joplin at Westinghouse Electric in San Francisco.

I moved on to computer operator, did a 10 year stint in Colorado, then in '90 moved back to Calif. and a backwards step to Admin. Clerk for Volcano. Started foolin' around with ad paste-ups and Lo and behold, found out I had some art in my blood (it runs in the family but mine didn't come out until late in life). VTC set me up in my own in-house shop 3 years ago. I've never worked harder or loved my job more than the last 3 years. Most of my work is graphic design, posters, vinyl banners, fleet vehicle graphics.

I have a beautiful daughter who's known as the school's "genius", 3 goofy cats, and a great boyfriend of many years who supports most of my endeavors (poor guy!). I love to fish, love jazz and blues and just enjoy life in the mountains. Most of all, I love chatting (and learning) with all of you.
